POST RIDE
First of all, we would like to extend a great big THANK YOU to everyone who made this years ride a huge success. Due to the generosity of the riders, sponsors, registration personnel, rest stop workers, SAG teams, and countless volunteers, we were able to raise over $4,500 for the 3rd District Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children program.
Our congratulations goes out to raffle winner Robert Darnell of Lawton,
Oklahoma who took home that beautiful 2009 Lamborghini tandem bicycle.

UPDATE 2
We will be raffling off a 2009 Lamborghini Tandem Bicycle at 1:30 pm Saturday afternoon. The bicycle has only been ridden twice for a total of 5 miles and is in like new condition. It was generously donated for this years ride by W.D. and Patsy Huffman of Altus, Oklahoma. Tickets are $5 each and you need not be present to win.

UPDATE
There will be an all you can eat spaghetti dinner on Friday night, August 6th, 2010 from 6-8 pm during pre-registration and packet pick-up. The cost is $5.00 per rider/family member. The dinner will consist of spaghetti (meat or meatless), salad, garlic bread, cookies, and tea or water. If you plan on attending the dinner, please email me at dbk100@yahoo.com or call me at (580) 471-5756 so that we can get a fairly accurate headcount. Thank You.
There will also be free pizza from 11am - 2pm at the Altus Community Center following the ride. The pizza was donated from our local Papa John's, Domino's and Pizza Hut restaurants.

The 3rd annual Quartz Mountain Diamondback 100 bicycle ride will be held on August 7, 2010 in Altus, Oklahoma.
The ride will begin and finish at the Altus city reservoir. There will be a 100 mile, 65 mile, 40 mile and 30 mile ride through the scenic flatlands of southwest Oklahoma. There will also be a 10 mile family fun ride around the Altus reservoir.
The ride will begin at 7 am and will transit the communities of Altus, Martha, Mangum, Granite, Quartz Mountain State Park, Blair and Friendship.
SAG and medical support will be available for all participants.
Bring the entire family and enjoy the beautiful Quartz Mountain State Park recreation area for the day or the entire weekend!
All proceeds from this ride will be donated to 3rd District CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an organization whose role is to be a voice for abused and neglected children.
